This is a little collection of Type 4 pictures. Some I took myself and some were sent to me by other Type 4-enthusiasts.

| 1969 | The first year 411 model with the very unique "cyclops" single headlights look. |
| 1970 | The 1970 model year brought dual headlights and the 411 station wagon. |
| 1971 | The changes for 1971 were mostly cosmetic, such as new coloring in the dashboard. |
| 1972 | Some more interior changes were made 1972, like a new steering wheel design. |
| 1973 | The 412 is introduced. |
| 1974 | 1974 marks the end of production and sees minor technical updates. |
